January 2010, Cinderella
Our 2010 pantomime was the ever-popular Cinderella, that lovely story about a beautiful down-trodden girl, over-powered by her two nasty stepsisters, who eventually finds her Prince Charming – Oh if only life was that simple!!

Here is a letter we got from a local resident about our panto this year. We hope you find this inspiring and hope it makes you think about the next panto you attend.
Dear Caveplayers
Cinderella by Cave Players was a fantastic local night out that i thoroughly enjoyed with my family. I took my 2 young children 4 and 6 with me and after them both going to see the pantomime's at Hull Truck and Hull New Theatre i wondered what they would think of the local performance. My children loved the show and are still talking about it now weeks afterwards saying the “best play they have ever seen” and they have seen quite a few with one example being Hairspray in London. I loved the variety of performers old and young and the story line showed that it had been well written as a good old fashioned panto should be - with jokes definitely hitting both the children and adults (as I and so many others around us witnessed Grace laughing so hard she cried).
I highly recommend cave players performances to everyone, it was the best 11.00 pounds i have spent in a long time.
Yours Sincerely Sarah Jackson
