Our 2008 panto was the traditional Mother Goose; the story of a poor Dame and her son whose only possession worth anything is an old goose. As usual the wicked landlord wants to get them out of their home and so is putting up the rent! Whatever will they do? Not to worry, in true panto fashion the fairy comes to the rescue and shows the Dame that their old Goose actually lays Golden Eggs – they are saved! However, things don’t necessarily go to plan and somehow the local ‘Del Boy’ Vernon Vanity and his robot sidekick get hold of the Goose and someone has to save the day. But all is not lost and it all ends Happily Ever After!
